“Comedy and the City” event to support Female troops

Operation Courage is Beautiful is holding it’s first major charity event to raise funds for it’s unique care package program. Care packages of personal care products valued at over $100 each are being sent to deployed female troops in places such as Iraq and Afghanistan. So far Operation Courage is Beautiful has already sent over 1 ton worth of products.

“Comedy and the City” features 7 hilariously funny comediennes travelling all the way from “the city of Angels” and will be held on May 20, 2010 at Jasmine Seafood Restaurant. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Goodie bags will be given to the first 100 guests to arrive. Guests are invited to shop with our vendors and participate in raffle prize drawings.

Support your Community – fill out and return the US Census form in the mail

Dr. Allen Chan is a US Census Partnership Specialist, helping to promote US Census participation in San Diego. With his multilingual skills and community involvement, he has been particularly helpful in educating the immigrant and non-English speaking Chinese community.
