Shanghai Nights 2010: A Charity Casino Event benefiting Gawad Kalinga

On Saturday evening, September 18, 2010, Dr. Casey Chan and other members of Beyond Productions will be presenting the second annual “Shanghai Nights – A Charity Casino Event,” this time, benefitting Gawad Kalinga, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that builds sustainable

communities, with the focus of providing land for the landless, homes for the homeless, and food for the hungry to empower those in need to be self-sufficient in countries such as the Philippines, Cambodia and others.

Shanghai Nights will be held on Saturday September 18, 2010 at the Corky McMillan Companies Event Center (Bldg. 177) at the NTC Promenade, located at 2875 Dewey Road, San Diego, CA 92106.  All net proceeds benefit Gawad Kalinga directly.  We expect 350 to 400 guests, composed of primarily 25-40 year old professionals.  There will be live stage entertainment, appetizers, drinks, and Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, Poker, Let-It-Ride, and Pai Gow gaming tables.  Opportunity drawing tickets will be available for end of night prizes.
