Three Alumni of Southern California University of Health Sciences, the same alma mater as chiropractic doctors Allen Chan and Casey Chan, are part of the 47 member strong 2010 US Olympic Medical Team. Michael Reed, DC serves as the medical director of the US Olympic Committee’s Sports Performance Division in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is coordinating the entire US delegation in conjunction with the chief medical officer James Moeller, MD. Eric St. Pierre, DC is the head trainer for the short-track team and Tesuya Hasegawa, DC cares for bobsled and skeleton athletes. There are two other chiropractic doctors in the US Medical Team including Josh Sandell, DC, ATC, and Blase Soto, DC. The US Medical Team consists of medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists and athletic trainers.
