Save a life – be a Bone Marrow Donor match! Many people, such as those with leukemia and other blood disorders, are in urgent need of a bone marrow donation. Matches are rare, especially in the under-represented Asian population.
To be a match or future-match of anyone in need, all that is needed is a cheek swab sample. New technology allows you to give a cheek swab sample from the convenience of your home and send it in by snail mail to the National Bone Marrow Registry. The data will be analyzed and stored in a computer database to be checked for future matches.
